Can't connect Galaxy Ring on S26 Ultra

I've been trying for 3 days straight to connect my ring to this new phone. I have tried all of the troubleshooting. The ring was also unlinked and reset from my older S23 Ultra that automatically connected when I first got the Galaxy Ring.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but my phone recognizes my ring and tells me to connect. I put it in Bluetooth mode to connect and get that it's not in pairing mode, when it is indeed in pairing mode.

Is anyone else having this problem? Please help. I log my fitness through the Samsung Health App and it's really throwing off my flow for this month.

Long press on the wear app until the menu pops up, tap on the "i" go to the app info page clear cache and data and set up ring again.

Have you tried to clear cache in Bluetooth?

How do you do that? If it's clearing cache through the settings app itself, I've already done that.

Goto settings, apps, next to where you see my apps on the right hand side is a 3 line menu tap on it and toggle on show system apps, type the search box Bluetooth, go storage and clear cache

I unfortunately don't have Bluetooth as an option when following these instructions.

This still does not work. The new 26 utra+ does not work with the samsung ring. I tried everything and even had the Geek Squad try it. I returned my ring and traded it in for an Oura.

Friends, I managed to solve the problem.
You need to remove the ring from the box and let it charge until the light ring is fully charged. When it's finished, put the ring back in and click the pairing button. The box will be recognized and the phone will install normally.

I had the same problem as you and solved it this way.

This did not work for me. The ring just won't work with my phone. I still have my S22 Ultra and it connects **bleep** near immediately without having to follow all these particular steps. Idk what it could be besides it just don't work with the latest flagship phone.

Thank you for the additional information, illumenoir. Can you please verify the wearable app is up-to-date on your S26 Ultra? Can you also please verify the software version for the wearables app for your S26 Ultra and your S22 Ultra to see if they are different software version?

What a pity that it did not work, with me the same problem was appearing and I solved it this way, removing the ring from the base, letting it fully charge until the light was complete and then I did the pairing.

My app is updated to the latest version on both phones. I think y'all need to accept that either the app does not work or that somewhere y'all messed up. I have tried everything and nothing is working.
