Galaxy Ring trying to pair with another phone after update

Ever since the new update a few days ago my Samsung ring keeps trying to connect to my husband's phone. Multiple times a day. Any fixes?

Go into the Wear app and reset the ring.

I have same issue. Reset ring, no fix.

I reset it too and it didn't help. Still pops up on everyone's phone around me.

Thank you for reaching out Members_xowTPc1 and BellaDTipton. I can certainly understand the frustration with your ring trying to pair to a new device. Just to clarify are you no longer able to see the ring on your device, or it's also populating on other devices before pairing after the update?

No I can see it but it's trying to connect to other people's phones if I'm near them. I did the new diagnostic for my ring and it says I have a battery issue as well.

Thank you for that additional information, BellaDTipton. For the battery symptoms, I would recommend a service repair. For the symptoms with the ring trying to pair with another phone, is it doing this while it's already paired with your phone?

Are the other people whose phones the ring is trying to pair with also Samsung devices?

This is happening to me as well. My ring is paired to my phone but randomly also shows as an option to pair on my friends Samsung device without any request to pair from the other device.

So what is the solution?
Asking obvious questions to stall is not really boding well.

YES, the ring is PAIRED with the owner's phone, in this case the OP and me, but regardless of being paired already, it pops on everyone's Samsung phone around us.
Is extremely annoying and dangerous.

Resetting the ring does nothing. So WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?

Same issue here. The ring is connected to my phone. If I move away from the phone, the ring starts asking to connect to nearby devices. This is only happening after last update
