Writing this here since no one at Samsung wants to help. Purchased this ring when it just came out 2024. Within less than a year, I noticed the lights on the ring stopped flashing. I didn't think anything of it because unfortunately I also own a galaxy watch and wear the two simultaneously so once my health/steps data ia updated I didnt think anything of it until one day I left my watch and had only my ring and noticed none of my data was being collected and then there's times when my phone will say "galaxy ring not near your phone" when it's on my finger. I tested out the ring on the diagnostic and my suspicions were confirmed; not working. I disconnected and reconnected several times....issue. Somehow though my ring would be "connected" by showing battery life, but i think its data thats ciming from the box since the ring still doesnt connect to the phone. Since then I've been trying to call Samsung several times...no answer. As I reside in NYC, the main store was in Roosevelt Mall which is completely out of the way unless I have a free day. This is now Aug 2025. Dec 2025 i a new Samsung store opened in Queens Mall, a store representative wasn't able to assist me and instead said to make an appointment. BUT when you go online to make an appointment at some point the website stops processing it and say there's an error or some other tech issue! Now it's Apr 2026, I go back to see if a different representative can help me, I show them all the issues, run the diagnostics which show there's an issue with the ring but NOW the response is..."oh your warranty has expired, so you'll have to pay for a new ring" What! I pay so much money for this device, managed to start action to get it addressed by trying to get in contact with representatives...and then when I do its a run around left and right...and then when I finally get to a center...I can't do anything about it but be advised to buy a new ring. I also sent a previous report about this loke a month or two ago.
