Samsung Dex Video goes out when paused

I have been experiencing a problem after switching to the S21. No matter what video platform I use, when I have my phone connected to my TV via HDMI through a USB-C docking station, I lose video when I pause. If I don't move my mouse and am still over the pause button, I can get video back when playback is resumed, or I can move the mouse all the way to the upper left and back out and get video back. This did not happen with my S9+. Any suggestions on how to prevent this from happening?

This is usually caused by using incompatible docks, make sure the dock supports USB 3.2 and check your display settings.

Thank you. Looks like that was the case. A USB-C to HDMI adapter works just fine.
