Started acting like this since the new 5.1 update. Prior to that it was working fine. I also found out if you make a call or play a voice message the top speaker would work for audio again. So aggravated <span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":expressionless_face:">😑</span>. This phone is new bought last month. I sent a error report and a tech asked me to explain more in detail just waiting on the response. Another person on a forum said they were facing the same issues and that a March security update resolved the issue. My security update was last updated on February 1st. So hopefully I'll receive the March security update and pay attention to see if I get the same earpiece speaker issues while playing music and movie apps.
