Were you using an esim? Normally you can just re-download the esim by adding it again. If you are using a physical sim then try turning off the device taking it out and putting it back in.

I encountered a similar problem with my s21+ this last November after my phone spent all day updating. I was using my phone just before midnight, sat it on my bed to go get a drink, and when i returned literally 2 minutes later my phone screen was saying "no network, check sim card or reinsert sim". My mind was blown seeing this, but i took my case off that has been on my phone since i bought it to check my sim card. It was there, as installed by carrier. I tried getting several new sim cards from the retail carrier store where i bought my phone but none worked. They tried various trouble shooting methods that did not work. But one associate discovered that my phone was no longer displaying its imei number, which this is important since its how the phone's brain recognizes its name basically. I cannot make or receive calls or texts thru my carrier anymore, i cannot update my phone since even tho the ok button appears it is unclickable, i cannot access my samsung account other than seeing that my phone shows me as signed in bc when i try to click on anything it tells me to sign into my account which continuously flips to sign in after i enter password. Any apps from galaxy store can not get updated. I dont have access to diagnostics in samsung members on my s21+ but on the positive side of this horror as long as im connected to wifi everything else on this $1000 phone works just fine. I can use an internet app to call &amp; text such as messenger or a video chat app. Oh and on my other devices my s21+ still shows as one of my devices on my samsung account. Still havent been able to run down a working solution so i am two phoning it most everyday.

S21 sim card not detected. I tried my SIM card on a different phone and has no issue. And I try using other ppl SIM card on this S21. It showed no sim card<BR />detected. In conclusion, It has to be the phone issue. What if I convert the sim card to esim. Do u think if this will solve the issue? Or should I bring the phone to Samsung factory for repair? Pls advise

Hi, on May 7th after an update installed I have been disconnected from my network. SIM card works in other phone but not S21 ultra. I got a diagnostic reading and the problem is with the RF module, I'm going to buy a new one (~$20) and have them install it for me. I bought my phone secondhand from eBay so I don't have warranty and I won't know until the install, if the RF module was incompatible, broken, etc... I'll keep you posted if I have success.
