Google assistant won't answer my demands?

Hey I recently realized my Google assistant won't answer to my voice, would anyone know how to fix that? It's really frustrating me that it just quit out on me so randomly when I use it all the time to call people or quickly Google something...

Going to Apps > Google Assistant > Storage and clearing the cache and data couldn't solve?

It's alot of steps to get there but worth it!
--Go to your phones settings
--Google Services
---All Services
--Settings for Google Apps
--Search, Assistant & Voice
--Google Assistant
--Hey Google / Voice Match
--Retrain Voice Match
Then follow Google's Directions from there...

It isn't. Just clear the cache for Google it self.
