Retrieving a important phone number that was deleted

It seems I deleted a phone number that is very important to get back. Is there anyway to retrieve that number from my phone?

If you open your contact app select the 3 lines in the left and select trash and restore the deleted number

Gary, there's no contacts in the trash. We would text more then call. Can I get into my texts to do this?

What text app do you use if it's the Samsung Messages tap the 3 dots in the right corner and select trash

If contact info was deleted, text messages won't be. It'll just be under the phone number like it was from an unknown number
