Alarm is no longer ringing

My alarm has suddenly stopped ringing, now just has an intermittent buzz at low volume

I did not change settings - volume is all the way up and sound is set at Homecoming as always.

I have a samsung fe21

@Dirk1946 Check in phone settings -> Sounds and vibration and check at the top of the screen to see that it is set to "Sound" and not to "Vibrate".

Tx that was it -- somehow phone jumped.from sound to vibrate

You can add the volume button to the top row on your Quick Panel. This will give you an easy way to check if the problem ever happens again.
