I've been in the settings and I cannot find anything that will turn off my delivery report, which is when I send a text out

That is strange. I have never received a sound notification for sent messages. 🤔 could you have maybe a 3rd party app or a set routine that is causing the notification?

If you are using Google Messages, this is pretty simple. First, go to your home screen in Google Messages and tap into your settings (it's the round circle at the top right and probably has your photo), then tap on "Messages Settings," then make sure to toggle off where it says "Hear outgoing and incoming message sounds." You should be good to go now! I have attached screenshots for reference.

Yes, that will work, too! However, I believe it will silence all your notifications. If you only want to silence the sound for outgoing messages, then you will need to turn that off in the Google Messages app as I explained above.

When you do that, then you don't hear the incoming messages. Like the original poster I just want it for when messages are sent.
