topic Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G cannot get a lower resolution and file size for pictures in Galaxy S21

I have searched online and did a long chat with Samsung support as I am trying to figure out a way to get lower file sizes as I take multiple pictures and I need to have location services on. They're only suggestion was to edit them after taking which is ridiculous as I have to take many pictures and then email them which I can't do if the file sizes are at least four megabytes. Does anyone know a workaround for this as editing these to lower the size just won't work.
