Not sure what you're asking about 8.5 updates. Beta testers have agreed to not discuss the beta outside the beta community, which is a condition of joining the beta program.

Your phone is expected to receive One UI 8.5 based on when it was released and Samsung's update schedule. However, there has been no evidence of internal testing for the S21 FE:

For 8.5? I highly doubt that, unless you're somehow running a Frankenstein'd unofficial build. The public beta program hasn't been expanded beyond the S25 series.

That's a list of devices *expected* to get it. Like I said, there's been no evidence yet of internal testing for the S21 FE.

That's also when 8.5 is expected to officially release in stable.

No you aren't in a beta, only the s25 is.

And if they were going to expand the beta past the s25 they definitely wouldn't skip the s22, s23, s24 for a mid cycle s21.

Hold up u wrong samsung phones get up dates for 7 years so the s21 fe we get it because i have the 8.0

Uh, no. Samsung phones didn't start getting 7 years of software updates until the S24 series. Just because the S21 FE got One UI 8 doesn't mean it will automatically get One UI 8.5 (it may be expected to, but that's not the same thing). See this recent article for a list of devices we know will get the upgrade, as well as devices we *still* don't have confirmation about. Guess where the S21 FE falls:

The s21 line has reached end of support period the s24 line was first to get 7 years
