s21 ultra not showing notifications

I have not received notification in days. I have done all suggestion on reddit and youtube except a reset. I think it started after I updated the google message app. So I figure its a google app problem. But I do not know.

If y'all have any off the wall suggestions that have worked for some reason no one knows why... then I'm willing to try but believe me I have done everything suggestion for days now

Good evening @judydem and welcome to our community! I definitely understand how frustrating it is to not get notifications and am delighted to provide assistance. Please give the following steps a try:

1. Put the device in safe mode- steps on how to do that: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/

2. If you still aren't getting notifications with the device in safe mode, try clearing the cache on the phone (without the phone in safe mode)

3. Please check to make sure the device is updated to the latest software/firmware

If you're still experiencing issues after doing all of this, the phone will need to be serviced. You can send a private message to myself or any of the mods here with the phone's full model code and IMEI or you can call 1-800-SAMSUNG and provide the same information.
