Call Recording with One ui7 and don't have the options to disable or remove features

Just updated my S22, I now have call recording which I Don't Want! You can't remove it!! I paid for my phone, I should be able to disable or remove features. I went back and read the update info provided by Samsung and this feature is not listed as part of the upgrade. From reading the other notes even the S25 has it. Samsung NEEDS TO FIX THIS NOW!

It's only an option in the Samsung dialer, as far as I know. If you don't want to record a call, don't press the button. Your other option is to use a different dialer, like Google Phone.

I like this feature, so when I call service centers I can record them, just like they record me.

If you want to turn off that feature. Open your phone app, click the 3 dots in upper rt hand corner, select settings, call settings, record calls, transcript assist and turn it off. That will disable the call recording feature

Under transcript assistant, is "auto transcripe recorded calls" off as well ?

I have the 25 Ultra and mine doesn't show that option so I'm checking to see if ur settings are the same as what mine are. I dont have this issue with my phone

You may have a version of the dialer that doesn't have that feature turned on by default. Sounds like it's a new thing.

@kimberleigh Sorry but that only turns off the AI transcription part. It does not turn off the call recording feature. I haven't seen a way to turn it off.

For us, it's not about the feature itself. It's about the option to remove the button if you don't want it. My elderly father has accidentally hit it a few times, causing awkwardness between him and the other person. I don't think that this should be an issue of concern for him. Tech is stressful and challenging for him.

How can we remove it? Feature to turn off and on is gone now . It looks like a vm icon while on the call.screen and your cheek activates it

I hit the button when I'm talking to someone, and it's annoying. Please give a toggle to turn it off ASAP

This is the worst update ever. We need to have the option to turn this off. I've activated it with my cheek on every call. I don't want to record people with my cheek. It's not a way to build trust with people on the other side. It's annoying.
