On 5/26, my S22 Ultra suddenly disconnected from the network. Even though it showed bars and 5G, I was unable to make calls. Occasionally, it showed "no service" at the top and a notification that "your phone's not on a registered network, so you can only make emergency calls." After a Google search, I tried:

1. Phone restart

2. Airplane mode off and on

3. Software is up to date

4. Removed SIM, wiped down, reinserted

5. Another SIM

6. Reset network settings

7. Toggled SIM on & off

8. Factory reset

Then:

9. AT&T, 2 different stores over 3 visits - every time I was in the store, it connected. But it clearly was not a network issue, so they could only offer replacement by insurance or trade in

10. Geek Squad - offered replacement, same as AT&T

11. uBreakiFix - offered to replace parts, but stated 70% of the time, it is a software error, and the phone must be replaced anyway.

I can't find any information on Samsung recognizing the issue, which seems to be quite widespread over the past year & including S23 Ultra, and offering replacement. I am out of warranty, and my extended warranty with All State has expired.

Are we going to get a class action lawsuit?
Then all they have to do is register your phone number onto the mobile network. My phone carrier already has deactivated my phone number because I kept getting the exact same notifications.

Hello edavis1003, Welcome to the Community, and thank you for reaching out. We know how upsetting it is to experience network issues.

This link provides the available troubleshooting from Samsung for network issues: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01212956/

If you receive a SIM card error, you can try the steps here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001620/

You can run Diagnostics in the Members app under the Support Tab to test the hardware.

Submitting Feedback to Samsung will provide data logs from the phone to Samsung developers. https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

If you continue to receive network errors and your provider is unable to resolve them, it is recommended to have the phone evaluated by an authorized service location. You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S.: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html.

Ever since May 25th/26th and the most recent update, my S22 Ultra cannot get Registered to a Newtork. I have tried everything both Samsung and my carrier (T Mobile) have suggested. On/Off, Airplane Mode, Manual Network remove adds, Resets, remove and reinster SIM. clean SIM, get an E-Sim.

So far both T Mobile and Samsung said it's a known issue but I was wondering if anyone found a fix for this issue?

Samsung Team - please don't give me the generic routine (try this this and this), as we have all tried your suggestions and nothing is working. Obviuosly it is an update issue and even with the new update this morning, it is still occurring.

Thanks in advance!

It is still deactivated, yes. They haven't got me registered on the mobile network yet, but that's why it's deactivated right now. You can call them or go into your nearest T-Mobile store and tell them that your phone number is not registered on the mobile network and if there's a way that they can register it.

Ok cool. Thank you. I am on with them now doing the same thing I already did with them yesterday. I asked them to just register my phone on the network and they said they are seeing it on the network. I'll ask them again to just re-register it if they tell me there's nothing more they can do. I'll keep you posted.
