Do we know of any one ui7 battery drain patch coming out or is Samsung just going to ignore it and continue to work on one ui8 .

Optimize YouTube. That was found to be a major culprit in battery drain. Seems it's always running in the background (even if you don't use the app). Check your battery usage and see what your top 3 or 4 battery chewers are and put them to sleep or deep sleep or restricted in optimization.
