What does the price of the phone have to do with whether or not you reset it? Sometimes updates go awry because of other apps a user has on their phone, the level of maintenance the user regularly performs, among other things. The only way to fix certain errors is to reset the phone after making a complete backup of your important stuff. Samsung provides temporary cloud storage for just this purpose in addition to the nightly automatic backups. When you reset your phone, you get a clean system. Restoring your backup should not give you the same errors.
