It's absurd that we are a week after this issue being reported and the advice we have is to let the updates run it's course. There are a lot of smart people working for Samsung that should be able to patch this up. I'm not tech savvy so the instructions for a work-around were lost on me. I can't recall how many updates my phone has gone through now but it better be close to being done

Hi everyone,

I have got an S22 Ultra. Yesterday, just while it was on my desk, I came across a phone restarting millions of times, where Android was not loading. It just vibrates, shows SAMSUNG, and the next step "powered by Knox…, then shuts down. This happens again and again, and overheats the phone until the battery dies.

Please let me know if you have found a solution for this.

Are you able to boot into recovery mode? If so, it may be a software issue and you may be able to attempt a factory reset. Alternatively, you may be able to put it in download mode and use Smart Switch for PC to install clean firmware.

If not, and the boot loop is truly inescapable, it may or may not be a hardware failure and you will need to visit a certified Samsung repair center to fully diagnose the issue and have the device repaired by a certified technician.
Find one near you: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

My unlocked S22 ultra is stuck on a boot loop. This seems to be a common occurrence with these devices and samsung needs to make it right by repairing anyones devices that have similar issues. It is not ok to deploy updates that break phones outside of warranty and then require payment to fix the issue. I need this fixed asap.

I never had this issue with any of the updates. This is the first time I've heard this happening.

To fix an S22 Ultra boot loop, first try a forced restart by holding the Volume Down and Power buttons for 10 seconds. If that fails, enter Recovery Mode to wipe the cache partition, which clears temporary data without erasing your files. If the problem persists, you may need to perform a factory reset (which will erase data) or seek professional help to reinstall the firmware using tools like Samsung Smart Switch or Odin.
