Screenshots no longer include status bar and nav bar

Prior to the OneUI 8 update, all of my screenshots included the status bar and navigation bar in them. Since OneUI 8, screenshots do not show them.

Please put them back in future updates. This was really helpful for troubleshooting. I can easily crop those parts of the screen out if I don't want them, but I can't add them in if I do want them when they are not included by default.

Some before & after images are attached to show what areas I'm referring to. The after images are photos taken with a different device which have a poor image quality.

(Apologies if this is a duplicate post. My first attempt at this post never appeared on the forum after I clicked "post".)

@SunnyState88 This is an option so it is easy to fix. Go to phone settings -> Advanced features -> Screenshots and screen recordings. Turn off the option "Hide status and navigation bars".

OMG thank you. I must have toggled it off and not realized it had this effect when I was trying to change the transparency settings of the status bar and nav bar.

My screenshot Icon is missing at the bottom right corner of my screen to take screenshots. How do I get it back ???

@Cyngine I haven't seen that option in a long time. For an alternative, swipe down from the top of the screen. In the Quick Panel is a screenshot button.
