YOUTUBE VIDEO DARKNESS

I don't know why it does this but, when I play a youtube video it darkens about 20%, The rest of the YouTube videos are bright but the one playing is affected. Anybody know what's going on how i can fix this? Thank you in advance

This behavior seems to be a specific UI bug. Head to YouTube > Tap on your YouTube profile > then settings > general > appearance > select "light theme". Tweaking this setting usually did the trick for some users.

Just close and reopen youtube, its a bug with the video settings UI overlay. You don't need to change from dark to light mode.
