topic S22 Ultra Green line on screen issue in Galaxy S22

Green lines appeared on the edge of the phone just before the warranty completion. No software updates has happened, but all of a sudden the green lines appeared on the right edge. Gave it to the Service Center & they say there is a bump on left top and hence it cant be replaced. Can anyone explain after 3 years of usage, which phone will not have dents or bumps...

Inspite of me asking the actual reason of why the Green lines appeared, there is no convincing answer from Samsung, but responses like "its an electronic device, usage, heat - atypical generic responses"

My worry is in case i pay additional money to get the screen replaced (which samsung team says they'll give 90 days warranty), what is the guarantee that after the next software update there aren't more green lines..

TBH, i thought Samsung was a company that cared about consumers, but looks like they too are following others like Oppo, Oneplus, etc. and stopped worrying about consumers

Green, pink, or white lines suddenly appearing on your screen indicate an issue with the display hardware. You should take your phone to a service center for evaluation. Here's how to find one:

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/

See this article for more information about this phenomenon:

https://www.androidauthority.com/how-to-fix-green-line-issue-on-phone-screen-3342058/

Hello user0ydQaY8bFz, I understand the concern about green lines appearing on your screen. Here is an article you can check out: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001447/

If you are still experiencing the green lines after trying the link, it is definitely recommended what @Mujibar already mentioned to have the device evaluated by a certified technician.
