topic Control panel issue or a bug? in Galaxy S22

My S22 Ultra was working great up until last night. Usually, l would swipe down from the top of the screen to view my notifications. After the second swipe down from the top of the screen, l see all my quick settings. To make the story short, the soonest l swipe down from the top, l get all the apps in a quick panel. If l pull it right up from it, l get my notifications just the way l used to. Any ideas about what causes this issue and how to fix it? Thank you.
