Lock screen camera and flashlight buttons not working

Ii have 2 buttons on my lock screen, camera and flashlight. However, neither work. Also am using lockstar and cant get the menu to add the shortcut tool bar. Tia

Are you sure that you are using the lockscreen buttons correctly? You have to slide each button horizontally toward the center of the phone for them to work. Just tapping these buttons does nothing.
