I have recently updated Instagram from Google play and every time I try to open the app it crashes and exit. Anyone knows why?

I got the update yesterday and Instagram crashed every time. However, I got a new update this morning and it was fixed, so I guess you might have the new update soon.

Or you can just uninstall IG and install it again.

Do this. Tap and hold the app from the menu. When the menu pops up go to app info and then force stop it (bottom right button). And then clear the data. Then Uninstaller. Then restart your phone. Run the system cleaner(widget on home screen) and then reinstall

Tried that, IG closed quickly again. My s23 ultra suggested putting IG in deep sleep. The corrected update dropped and I had toeactivate to install. It's fine now.
