Dark mode does not turn on what I set it too?

I have an S22 plus with the Last and Latest update. My dark mode is not turning on like it supposed to. I have it set to sunrise and sunset. Anyone having the same issue?

Keep in mind in order for customized settings to take effect the screen must fully turn off before it can take effect best thing to do is use custom time and set your own timeline versus Sunset to Sunrise see if that helps

Even if I set dark mode to turn on at a specific time, it will not be automatically turned on if my phone screen is off. I need to wake it up to a lockscreen (at least) so that it triggers the routine.
