Phone still rings after answering

So I have noticed the last week or so . When I answer my phone or even make a call when the other person answers , you can still hear the phone ringing in the background.

As you can tell this is horid , and it seems the other party can hear it ringing after answering .

I am using stock samsung phone caller app. Have cleared data and cache , phone is fully up to date. I am at a loss . I even hit clear network settings .

My mobile network is set correctly and apn info

The only one who would know how to adjust settings making needed corrections is the one hearing the unusual sound!

Both me ( caller and the recipient ) hear it continue to ring . I think this may be a google fi issue. I am going to reach out to them and see.

I just wanted to see if I was the only one experiencing this issue and whay network provider was used. That would tie it down to a device issue / setting or the network provider .

If best method to address issue with your phone is decided to be Google, I recommend reaching out to Google!

After reading your related topics. I realized I had a 2nd issue with it not hanging up. On top of the ringing issue. Well I will clear the data and cache of the samsung phone app.

Oh well my new s23 ultra just shipped. Will be here Monday. So hopefully the issue won't persist.

What carrier do you have? I'm curious if it is just on google fi. Or if it's t mobile , att etc . If it's not google fi , than it is a sasmaung issue.

I have a Galaxy S22 on Google Fi and am experiencing the same annoying issues. I've cleared cachés, restarted, installed updates, and tried to get assistance from Google Fi support and its still happening. I believe it began sometime in December.

Has this issue improved? I ended up porting my wife's S22+ to Mint Mobile. I'd come back to Fi if the issue has been resolved.

I have the Samsung Z flip and I experience the same issues of phone continuing to ring after the call starts, as well as the call not fully hanging up after the call ends.

I am currently having this problem with Samsung s23 ultra with Google Fi. So, no issue not resolved!

I have a galaxy s23 ultra. I have had this issue for a long time. This is not only happened to this phone. I had note 10+ & I had the same problem. This happened at a time the signal is weak. I am now with Google Fi. Before I was with metro pcs. This happened on both carriers.

S22 continuously rings while on a call

My samsung s22 continously ringing while on a call and speaking with someone. Even when I hang up to end the call, my samsung will not end the call. Because of this, I constantly reboot my phone as a way to end a call.

Any expert advice on how to resolve this?

There's a notification on the phone app to notify you that a call is still happening if you're not on mute it dings every few seconds or if your notification sound is a ring tone it will play that
