I have the Galaxy S 22 Ultra. After the last update, the notifications will appear and then disappear causing me to miss text messages and other notifications

You could get GoodLock off of the Galaxy store and get their NotiStar app. It keeps a history of notifications so you can see for sure what you missed

So notifications for texts disappear after you receive them, and you don't get any alert for phone calls, or only the missed call notification? Try this, with the phone powered off, press + hold power and volume up buttons until the Samsung logo disappears. Using volume keys, highlight Wipe cache partition and then power to select and confirm. Next, use volume keys to select Repair apps, and power to confirm once again. Another option is to go to your Settings, and in the top search bar type "Time to take action" and see if changing this to a slightly higher duration fixes things.

So I figured it out. It would seem that after the last update, the notification History setting was set to off. Maybe something that needs to be look at for future updates
