Smart Switch backup will not run without backing up Secure Folder

I have been using Smart Switch to backup my phone but have been excluding my Secure Folder (I do not want the secure folder backed up). In the past there has been no problem with this. Today, I tried to run Smart Switch and it connected normally but when I tried to complete the backup to my computer, a window display on the computer saying it was waiting for a response about backing up my Secure Folder. I selected Cancel, only on the window with that message and it cancelled my backup. On my phone, there was also a Log In window for opening my Secure Folder. I exited out of that without putting in my password since I did not want to back up that folder.

How do I run Smart Switch, without backing up the Secure Folder. I just want to backup my phone to my computer without backing up my Secure Folder.
