Audio stopping when screen closes

Iheart, Pandora bluetooth audio stops when screen closes, then starts as soon as I open phone. All settings are set to allow background use, data saver is off, has permissions for mobile data, deleted and reinstalled, restarted phone, deleted cache, multiple times. Any ideas?

Playback issue once screen turns off.

When listening to audio player (wondery, spotify, etc) when I receive a notification after the screen has turned off, the audio reverts back to the time stamp of the last time screen was lit up.

Settings > apps > iheart/Pandora > battery > optimized or unrestricted.

I had this same problem with youtube music and I figured this out on my own.

Mine has been set to unrestricted but still has the issue.

Turned off DuckDuckGo protection and that worked.
