Since this post, the phone has gotten worse. It overheats all the time, freezes constantly, and I keep getting messages that pop up saying something isn't responding, the battery won't hold a charge and it takes forever to charge (even with fast charger). It restarts on its own from time to time and it is more trouble than it is worth. I am trying to research phones that are better than Samsung at this point. And there have been quite a few more updates sent to the phone since that time as well (at least 6) which did not help at all. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS! This is UNACCEPTABLE Samsung.

Tech Support and Care Plus are NO HELP AT ALL!!! I paid for Care Plus package for NOTHING!

I recently received an update to my year old S22 Ultra and it killed my phone. I called to speak with Tech Support and they referred me to an authorized shop to have them look at it and it was DEAD! There was nothing they could do, it would not even power up. I was then sent a remanufactured phone that has been issues every since I got it. It is now updating the same update continuously back to back and restarting repeatedly. My phone was only a year old when the update killed it, a remanufactured phone was sent in its place and it too has issues. Samsung...count your last days!

Sounds like 1st phone has a hardware issue. As to the second phone, a reflash of the same firmware with the latest Odin patched should get your phone back working again.

Cheers
3fees

Right but ALSO, Samsung isn't even listening to their user base for these updates anymore. Removing the single toggle for deletions to be immediate in the gallery, instead of using the trash collector. Removing user profiles from the accounts and users tab.

Hey there! I can absolutely understand how frustrating this is for you. I would absolutely suggest having a certified technician take a look at the device to see what's going on.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864. For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html I do apologize for any inconvenience.
