Sim cards go bad, get damaged, etc. Has nothing to do with the age of the phone. It should be a free replacement.

Ok. Not bad, but I never got charged for a replacement sim card, no matter which carrier I was with. Maybe because it's TracFone? Or these days everyone is nickle & diming. I think I remember AT&T wanting to charge if they sent it, but not when I went to the actual store.

I don't see an option for wi-fi calling on this particular phone. My last phone had it, but if it's on this Galaxy S20 I can't find it. Messenger may work
