Phone keeps restarting

I got this phone almost 2 years ago and for the past 2-3 days it keeps randomly restarting and lately it's been getting more unusable before it took a few hours to restart again and now it barely lasts a few minutes. Anyone have the same problem and resolve it?

Seen few mentions of this not sure of the cause or fix I would submit feedback

Could be a bug or a software update issue not fixed I think not sure exactly

Yeah I had a software update a few days before my phone started crashing. Could be due to that maybe? Not sure. I deleted some apps I recently downloaded as well as a full factory reset. Doesn't seem to help so maybe a software update will patch it

Being holiday tomorrow might be next week it's not too long I think after submitted so my guess next week sometime

A week is a software but at least I won't be busy. It's a little embaressing for samsung if thr issue is rampant and important people had saumsung phones

Think it's a matter of finding the issue or cause than fixing it the logs submitted should help

You can find out if a downloaded app is causing the reboots by restarting your phone in "Safe Mode." You can reach Safe Mode by pressing and holding the power button until the power off pop-up appears. Then, long press the power off option until the Safe Mode prompt appears.Safe Mode on Android restricts third-party apps. If the problem goes away in Safe Mode, then an app is likely causing the restarts. You would want to start with the most recent app downloaded and uninstall the problem app.

Also, something to check is your phone's storage, If it's full, that can also cause the issue you are experiencing.

I tried safe mode but that made it even worse. My phone wouldn't even unlock. I'm only using 50gb out of 128 since I factory reset my phone so I don't think it's my storage

I would reach out to samsung customer service on the main members home page > support. A tech can remote access your device to diagnose your issue.

I'm having the same exact problems. Full factory reset did not help at all. Tried every troubleshooting tip I could find, nothing worked. I've stuck with Samsung since my Galaxy S4 and now debating what to do next. It is killing me that I have to replace a phone that is only 2 years old, for problems that many people are having and is clearly a defect in S22 phones and not the fault of the user. It is enough to make me turn away from Samsung when I previously thought I'd be a lifelong user.

I agree! Samsung needs to acknowledge the problem that numerous devices are experiencing and find a fix.
