Keyboard covering text box in Messages

I just noticed in my text messages when typing the text box only get so big then I can't see the words because they are under the keyboard. But if I close the keyboard I can see the words. It didn't do this before. I think the app updated and now is doing it. Is there a way to change it back?

What size font size do you use 🤔, maybe try a small font size 😉

I'm having the same problem. It just started today. I have an S24 Ultra. I think the recent update messed things up.

I'm also having this problem. I've changed the keyboard size, changed font size, updated, cleared caches, restart phone, force stop, and still same problem. I have a Galaxy S24. This only started after the newest phone update.

I have just started noticing this on mine today, too. It's very annoying! I know my phone just did an update just recently and I'm sure that's why it's suddenly doing this.
Is there a way to report?

I have tried all those same things and nothing has helped me either. I have the s22 and it just started after the last update. I hope they correct this soon!

Tried to change the size of the keyboard, doesn't help, it's covered after so many characters entered. That wasn't a productive update. I heard that disabling List Detail View should help, but can't seem to find it on my phone.

Same! Sent feedback to fix. This is actually one of my biggest use cases for getting a flip so would be a bummer if it wasnt fixed ASAP

SAME!!! It's infuriating. The most recent update definitely brought on the problem. Because this is a new issue and I have not changed any settings.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I understand your concerns with your keyboard covering your text. What text app are you using? Have you tried clearing the app cache, to clear the cache go to settings, apps, select your messaging app, storage, clear cache. If you are still experiencing issues after clearing the cache please submit an error report by going to the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.

Hi, can you please raise this issue to Support for all of us? This started after the Security update Samsung pushed out the other day. I use Google Messages. I have tried your suggestion plus others and still have the issue. I'm sure this is very widespread as it is affecting many Samsung models. I have an S24.

Appreciate the help on this issue.
