Turning on screen is SLOW since one ui 7

On my s22 I am having a bug where the screen takes almost 2 full seconds to turn on after pressing this button... does anyone have a fix or is having this issue as well?

You can give this a try and wipe the cache partition see if that helps

Detailed Steps:

Turn off the phone: Ensure your S22 is completely off before proceeding.
Enter Recovery Mode: Simultaneously press and hold the Volume Up and Bixby/Side button until the Samsung logo appears on the screen. Release the buttons.
Navigate to "Wipe cache partition": Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Wipe cache partition" in the Recovery Mode menu.
Confirm and select: Press the Side button to select "Wipe cache partition".
Confirm again: Press the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and then press the Side button to confirm the action.
Reboot the phone: Once the cache wipe is complete, use the Volume Down button to highlight "Reboot system now" and press the Side button to restart the phone.

That and a Factory reset is the only thing I can think of at the moment to try and reset the system

Prior to initiating a factory reset, I backup all of my photographs and other pertinent data to Google Photos and my personal computer. This precautionary measure ensures that all essential information is safe, and I employ the Smart Switch feature on my computer to backup everything else.

You can check to see if your photos are already backed up to google photos by going to photo.google.com

Make sure you have your photos and music save to cloud storage

No. Factory resetting means deleting everything. You have to transfer your photos and data somewhere. Maybe onto your computer, or to the cloud like Google photos

Ui7 brought many issues along with it.

So, I had to do a hard reset per all issues.

Unfortunately, my screen still takes way too long to turn on. Don't waste time in resetting just to fix it.

For the phone running slow, try clearing the cache partition of the device:
- Power off your device.
- While the device is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the power and volume up buttons.
- Once the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons. Your device should boot into recovery mode.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select:
- Navigate to "wipe cache partition" and press power.
- Select yes to confirm.
- Navigate down to "Repair apps" and press power.
Next, check to see if a third-party application may be responsible for this behavior. You can check with Safe mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/
If the device does not overheat or run slowly in Safe mode, uninstall third-party applications until normal device operation is restored.

Lastly, you can try a factory reset. Back up prior to doing this (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00060517/) as your device will be getting a fresh start, then perform a factory reset: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/
