I have the exact same phone carrier when I upgraded phone at Spectrum. Moto G pure had option in each contact to send all calls to VM. This new $1,200 Samsung 23 ultra does not offer the feature in each contact. It's not a carrier issue. Same carrier.

Carriers decide what calling features that they make available on what devices, not Samsung. It is part of your phone plan with your carrier for your device.

Please consult your carrier to see if the feature is available for your current device.

Have exact same phone plan as in previous phone. Samsung lacks this option in contact details. It has nothing to do with carrier. Same carrier for years.

We used samsung switch to transport all my contacts info and apps to new phone. It's a samsung feature that is missing in contacts. U might need to add that to your phones.

Then your current phone plan does offer the feature for your Samsung phone. Still a carrier issue.

You can:

Place the phone on DND and calls will roll over to VM.

Silence the phone and calls will roll over to VM

Individually block each contact

Don't want to.block. just want calls from some people to go to VM and listen later. It is not a carrier issue

No all included in previous plan.. nothing changed in phone plan. Just changed phones. Same exact service. No extra charge for vm. Feature was on each contact info to chose to send all.calls from one contact to VM. Go look at a moto phone.

Blocked calls should stop the phone call from coming into phone. Blocked call list does not send to VM. They go immediately to a BLOCK CALL LIST. Samsung is missing option to send a frequent caller to VM.

Not a spectrum issue...used feature on old phone with spectrum same carrier. I will.go to spectrum to check.

Download Google contacts app and it has a feature "Route to voicemail"

I use Google phone dialer as my default, for one simple reason, typing in a business that is not in my contacts, will get me that businesses number without having to open Chrome first.
Hopefully on the new Snapdragon 8gen3, Samsung can add some Ai to their phone dialer app

I too, use Google phone app, messages and other apps on my S23. That began when I started using Pixel phones.
