Is this Samsung 25W Fast charger genuine?

I bought this charger in Dubai from a Samsung authorized dealer. However, the 'Compatible with Android and iPhone' statement on the packaging is bothering me. Why did Samsung mention such a thing? Is this normal?

A Samsung store, owned by the Samsung company, will most probably only sell Samsung products. You purchased yours through an authorized Samsung dealer, meaning, this was an independent person who was recognized by samsung, and probably many other brands, to sell those companies' products in their store. Therefore, I would tend to believe that the charger you purchase was an aftermarket charger, hence the description including iPhone on it.

Probably legit, the samsung 45w charger also specifies that it's compatible with iPhone and Android. It's there because iphones don't include chargers and samsung would like to sell their chargers to iPhone users.

NotBruceWayne, I cannot confirm if this retail packaging is 100% genuine but I can comment on that yes Samsung has printed on wall chargers & wireless charging pads packaging that the product is compatible with iPhones as well.

They also mention that they are compatible with Android, as other companies make android devices, and Samsung want you to know that they have you covered, no matter who you bought your device from.
