Google maps features

Can someone please help!!?? The eta numbers on the bottom that tell you how long till your destination have stop changing colors according to how traffic is doing Meaning,

it doesn't turn green for good traffic, amber for slow downs, or red for bad traffic. I also don't see the accident icons either

I don't know what happened and why it stopped I tried everything! Location is on, as well as precise location, I uninstalled and installed it again, restarted my phone , you name it! I'm a truck driver and use Google maps daily!

Can someone please give me a possible solution? I'll take any suggestions!! Thank you so much in advance!

UPDATE! so I figured it out lol. Sounds silly but I had an eye exam recently and my eye doctor (who's also my friend) messed with some of thw vision settings on my phone, one being the high contrast font setting, he turned that on and that was the issue. It was causing the eta numbers to stay black and white. I switched it off and the colors came back! Lol. Anyways, thx for the feedback guys

I'm afraid that may be a Google erasing great functioning features as they claim to make way for "better" ones. I say it like this as they got rid of location based reminders for the current system which is a massive downgrade to the system.

Are you sure that your mobile data is turned on? It doesn't seem to be on according to your problem description.

Yea it's on. Every single GPS and possible location feature are all on. Every feature on Google maps is working except this one. Very frustrating

I've seen several navigation apps specifically for truck drivers on the Play Store. I haven't used them, though, and don't know much about any of them. Have you tried any of those apps?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I started using Waze and I let Santa 🧑🏿‍🎄 Claws show me the way! He been getting around safely way before Google come along and gots they chit all fuc*ed up! Sho ya rite!
