One UI 6.1 AOD "When to show" Auto option missing

While I like the 6.1 update new features/AI, I am disappointed that there is no auto option in AOD When to show, like on the S24. I don't understand why this wouldn't be included in the update. Prior to One UI 6.0, we used to be able to keep AOD on show always and it would stay off in pocket/face down and turn on taking out of pocket/face up. So I was looking forward to getting back this feature. Anyone have any insight as to why this didn't come to the S23 series? Does Samsung have plans to include this in a future update?

I am on 6.1 with a s23 and the option is still there.

I am referring to the "Auto" option as shown here (s24). This is the missing option on 6.1 for s23.

Hey there! Unfortunately, it is unknown when or if the S23 will receive an update to add the "Auto" option to the AOD. 😢
