Gallery app view Local Storage of a NAS on S23 Ultra?

I wanted to know how can you get the Gallery app to see the local device storage of a NAS on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra without having to download a third party application.

If it is not possible then what was the point of going like Apple to try and control the user's feel and use of the device 🤔

It's interesting that you can add network storage to an A9 plus tablet but you can't do it to a flagship cell phone.

@Theobrown You can open My Files (a Samsung app on your device) and click on Network storage. This will allow you to access a NAS.

That is possible via My Files as I mentioned. But the photos on the Network Storage do not appear in the Gallery.

That is the only pit fall that I am seeing with the option of being able to add the Network Storage. That would just require another app.

Why not in Gallery? Any way to see it in Gallery? Complicated or any other?
