S23 Ultra not supported by Dexcom G6.

Any one else have their Dexcom G6 continuous glucose meter app say that the S23 Ultra is not a supported device. And if so what have you done to get the app working with it? Or is there a 3rd party app that will work with it?

There used to be a site that would allow you to make a custom build of the app....I have up using my phone because dexcom takes forever to add new phones...

I have the same issue, you would think they would have it ready before the launch of any new phone.

I downloaded the BOYD app and so far it will not connect to the transmitter. So I am going to wait until time to change my sensor and see what it does. I change sensors on the 20th.

I have the same problem and need to switch to the receiver. So far I can only find thar it will take a few months before it is compatible

I got the Build Your Own Dexcom app and was able to get it up and going.

Will it still share to other phones? It's for my 8 year old daughter and I guess I messed up getting this phone. Her old phone was getting phased out so I was trying to upgrade. Now im out of luck because they took the old phone on trade

I downloaded BYOD yesterday, but couldn't detect the transmitter of my G6 using a new S23+. When I switched back to my old S20+ it was also a difficult connection, and only worked after many tries. I'm using the "international" software as I'm in Canada. Did you use the USA version or international one?

I spoke with someone at Dexcom and they said it could a year or more before the app is compatible with any of the S23 models

I ran into that problem too. They told me they were working on it and it should be ready in march or April. G7 doesn't work either. I had to go back to my old phone for the time being just to use the app. I have the omnipod 5 Wireless pump so I had to go back.

I am having the same problem and will have to go back to transmitter phone and I have the omni pod also. You would think they would have this figured out its not that much different from the s22. I called dexcom and they said it could take up to 2 months for them to get it to work on the s23

USA but once I put on a new transmitter I was golden. So I used my S20 until transmitter expired and I started a new one.

Yes. It works just like the Dexcom App because it is the Dexcom App.

Search for BYOD app on Google and it will pull up a link to it and how to install it. It is the Dexcom app.
