Holding letter keys for punctuation

Before this last update, I was able to hold down the key while pressing and punctuation would be there. Now it's different letter characters. Anyone know if there's a way to reset to the previous keyboard options. Ice tried but have had no luck. Hope this make sense. Lol

Why would you use the garbage Samsung keyboard. Use Gboard instead

I think you might be looking for Alternative Characters.

On your keyboard, tap the gear icon. Tap Layout and make sure that Alternative Characters is toggled on.

You should now see small punctuation and other symbols (parentheses, question mark, etc.) in the upper right corner of each key. Pressing and holding a key will let you select the symbol.

That's a perfectly good reason to use any app. It doesn't matter what other people think about it. The important thing is that the app does what YOU need it to do. 🙂
