A dude at ATT figured it out for me! The answer is GALLERY SETTINGS. In your gallery, go to settings, and empty the trash of videos and photos. I also turned off the setting that stores deleted videos and photos for 30 days. Apparently it all racks up as system files instead of video files which would make more sense. Done deal. I'm back down to 27% storage.

I believe there was a random system update recently and now I'm noticing that the system is using 195gb of storage. It was between 30 and 60 gb when I first got the phone a few weeks ago. What gives? I can't use it anymore because it's nearly maxed out and they don't seem to offer a way to upgrade my storage. Not a very good design. Thinking about getting a different phone.
