topic Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra Ordering, Shipping, and Feedback Thread in Galaxy S23

Hi everyone, with almost every new major device release, we like to have one of these Pre-Order and Tracking threads going. Completely optional, of course, but people seem to like to keep the dates and order details in one place, so we can all get a better idea of what and when to expect.

Usually, we try to include the following information:

- Date ordered

- Where did you order from (samsung.com, carrier, retailer, etc.)

- Model, storage capacity, Color

- You can share your trade-in if you want

- Estimated delivery date

Then, once it ships, please come back and post an update with the same information above, but the actual stated shipping and delivery dates, and maybe even let us know once it's received.

The thing is, as we all know, some popular items can start seeing their dates pushed back as they continue to receive pre-orders, plus, Samsung usually delivers their pre-orders a couple of days earlier than stated, and some carriers do too, so keeping track of this kind of information helps maintain a good idea of when to expect the new phone we are so excited for:)

I don't have the requested information yet myself, as I haven't pre-ordered, but I'm hoping to see some details from others that can maybe help me decide. At this time, I know I want the S23 Ultra. The smaller S23 is also amazing looking and feeling, but you just can't beat those Ultra cameras!

What I can't decide on yet is color, and if I should order one from my carrier directly (AT&T) or on Samsung.com. Locked or unlocked. I usually get the unlocked model, but carriers might have a slightly better trade-in offer. On paper, a trade-in deal from AT&T is much stronger, as they accept any S or Note phone, from any year and in any condition (according to their own site), but keep in mind that their trade-in value is spread over 30 months, in a form of bill credits, while Samsung discounts the phone instantly. I assume other carriers work similarly.

(a side note, if you're looking at a carrier option on Samsung.com, check every step on the ordering page carefully. It looks like it defaults to adding the AT&T Next Up feature, which is a monthly charge, and personally, I don't want it, and you may or may not want it either, so just make sure you make all the right selections, so there are no surprises later)

So, when I do decide and place that order, I'll be sure to come back and post an update, but in the meantime, please don't hesitate and share your stuff here.

Thanks everyone, let's go....
