Ok thanks. I went to manage accounts . i didn't even know a work account was there. I removed it.
Im in device admin apps. I don't see any that shouldn't be there.
There isn't an option remove any. When i click on one it just had Cancel, uninstall or activate. Im not sure what that section is for.
Does that mean these admin apps can take control of your phone?

Just FYI whenever you leave a job that you allow to put an administrator on your phone, you should contact the IT dept to have them properly delete it. Or, better yet, if you get a job that makes you have an admin account on it, get them to supply a work phone, or purchase a cheap phone for work. I'm not giving control of my phone to anyone.

It's possible some companies automatically do it once you connect to their network or utilize their apps, like email. You would have probably had to grant permission for it, but if it was so long ago, you either probably don't remember doing it, or thought you were just acknowledging use of the email. Ticked me off once when I logged into a work email account from my home computer and then found out my browser was now being managed by my organization.

It was a government agency. It was not a major management issue, they just took control of my print spooler to make sure anything I printed from the email account would be directed to my default printer. You wouldn't believe how many people just hit print, don't look at which printer they are sending things to and end up sending the print job somewhere it was not intended. It was the principle, though, that they took any control over my home computer -- but it was only the particular browser I had logged in on. No other part of my computer or any other browser was affected.

Was your phone added to an administrative network when your work accounts were set up? Are you no longer with the operation that put the admin on? If you left, did you make sure they removed your phone from their control? Just deleting the work accounts does not eliminate the administrative control, the administrator has to release your device. If you still work at the place that has the admin rights, ask them to release the device.

I no longer work, but if I ever had a job where a company wanted control of my device, they would have to supply the device. I am never giving control of my personal device to anyone.
