    <description>This is what VZ tech told me:I see that the RCS functionality on Samsung s23&lt;BR /&gt;is no longer supported with Samsung Messages&lt;BR /&gt;app. Samsung and vzn recommend switching to&lt;BR /&gt;Google Messages to access advanced&lt;BR /&gt;messaging features as it is the preferred platform&lt;BR /&gt;for RCS on Android device.</description>

      <title>Samsung Messages error "couldn't connect to the network" Verizon network?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There was a update in the Store app for Samsung Messages. After the update I went to turn on the chat settings but got a error. It just keep saying: Couldn't connect to the network. I kept trying it then says:There was an issue updating you to Advanced&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Messaging.There are a few reasons that might be causing the issue. Has anyone else had this issue. My carrier is Verizon .&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Were you using Google Messages before the update if so you will need to turn off RCS Messaging in Google Messages</description>

      <description>Verizon stopped use if right term of there message i.e message plus and sent notice to change to Google messages if I recall they extended that date but now we are past it</description>

      <description>I got these same messages on my Samsung Galaxy S23 with the new update too. I even cleared the cache data &amp;amp; went back into SM &amp;amp; I still got those error messages.</description>
