At&t update priorities?!

The April update for my s23 ultra just dropped. The irony here is that my s23 ultra got it first. Something went wrong with it's c-type port so normal Smart Switch transfer of my pictures has to be done via One Drive. I have a ton of pics!! I thought that this year's flagships were supposed to get the updates first, my Tab A8 got an April update before my current phone?!

if you bought your phone directly from AT&T, you will get the updates when they decide you will get updates.

The SIM card is an at&t and purchased the unlocked s23 ultra directly from Samsung.

@usera7gyEUOnUE since you are using an AT&T SIM card, your phone checks the AT&T update servers. Therefore you will only see the update when AT&T approves it and loads it onto their update servers.

Doesn't matter where you bought your phone.
