Is there a way to keep this phone from co standby downloading and updating all the time? I don't want it and turned off all the auto update options I can find in the settings. Yet somehow my phone keeps downloading updates and changing stuff. It's like it never stops. Something is always downloading on this phone and I can't seem to make it stop. All started when ui7 forced itself onto my phone. Constant problems since it decided to just hop on my phone even though I got all that auto cap turned off. Even kept saying no the this update and yet now its on my phone and I can't seem to stop the problems. Samsung said u break I fix is the people to fix it. They say they can't fix all these issues that came up with ui7 and can't get ui7 off the phone. They suggest filing insurance at this point but why should I have to pay for Samsung's mistake?

I'm gonna be honest and say idk what all is updating at this point. Sometimes I can see its apps and sometimes its just a cream colored bar that says updating and then dissappear. I do know a couple apps got deleted and I've had some new apps downloaded that I've had to delete. Somehow fb turned on like every notification and I've been bombarded with notifications. Had to turn off like 20 different things. Wasn't like that before. This phone has been weird since it updated. My wife has the same phone that we bought at the same time. Mine updated a few weeks before hers for some reason and she says mine acts nothing like hers. Its weird. I can sit next to my son and send like 5 different Pic messages and he recieved one.ine shows 5 sent and his shows one received. I have to screenshot my phone and send pics to people bc they think im ignoring them. My phone shows message sent but they never recieve it. Its so weird

Might be coincidence with update but seems to me perhaps a malware issue going on the ui7 uodate shouldn't be changing any notification or app settings

No idea what its doing. I blame ui7 bc i got up and my phone was fine.. went to the lake and fished for a good while. I pulled the phone out my pocket and my phone was restarting saying it had ui7 now. Since the moment it came back on its been bad. After the restart I couldn't make calls and it said I wasn't connected even though it showed 5g full service. Apps had been deleted and new ones downloaded. All my web pages I had open were gone. My battery immediately started draining faster. Twice it showed charging when I went to bed but didn't charge at all all night even though the icon was lit up with the charging symbol. Like I said. Constant problems since it downloaded and installed. I explained everything to a couple different phone repair places and everyone said they couldn't fix that. They all said call Samsung. Even AT&T said call Samsung. I've called, emailed, left feedback, did the text support. Now for almost 3 weeks I've had issues and about the only "fix" that happened was getting the top swipe down thing back to one panel.

I honestly don't think its the oneui7 update. I've done 2 beta tests for one ui and that includes 7. I've never had any issues even after downloading the complete version and I have the s23 ultra. Which type of phone are u using?

The techy nerdy people had me do a bunch of things saying they were "fixing it". Ended up with more problems bc of the network update thing they had me do. I love the gray screen that says not connected when it shows 5 bars of 5g and I'm on 1gb fiber internet. One thing they had me do magically changed my battery from 55% to 100% instantly. Idk what wizardry they did there. Its been constant problems and tech support wants me to mail it in and pay them an amount they say. They did say about 7 days to fix it plus all the shipping time but wouldn't tell me a cost to send it in. Tech support has sucked throughout this whole dam thing

Straight up I guess I either pay Samsung to fix it or play target practice with it and buy a new one. Samsung and AT&T says if I ain't giving them money, no assistance available.
