Unable to open settings, access to home button and exiting apps

Hi all,

After updating my s23 to the latest IU7 software update today, I don't have access to the setting apps anymore, I can't access the quick pull down menu, and I don't have a home button anymore, only the back button. Which causes issues when I use certain apps as I can't exit or do anything except power off and restart the phone.

I've restarted my phone several times, I did numerous soft reboots and I also wiped the cache partition and rebooted my phone, but the problems persist.

Did anyone encounter this issue, do you have any other recommendations to solve it? thank you!

Can you connect your phone to a computer and run Smart Switch for a backup? You may be looking at a factory reset.

Thank you for your replies! I was able to solve the issue by re-accessing the welcome page. It seems that the first time I installed the software it didn't register my response, and everytime I restarted the phone the welcome page would crash and not allow me to continue. I clicked the power button and it gave me the option, clicked agree and settings, home button, etc, all got restored
