"Do Not Disturb" Allowed contacts resets daily

I think it may be time to move to the Google Pixel.

I've tried resolving this with Samsung 3 different times now, zero luck. Each time, they act like it's resovled.

There are many reports without a solution.

This has been a problem for some time now. They should just disable this feature until they can get it working reliably.

The old way to do this still works and has never caused me any problems.

In the bottom part of the screenshot, I have DND set to allow favorite (starred) contacts only. It's a little bit of extra work to go through my contacts list and star all the people I want to be able to reach me, but at least this older feature works reliably.

I have this problem on my S25 ultra. I'm an on call doctor and it's super critical I hear my messages at night. The contact I add to "allow only selected contacts" , keep getting removed and my selection under messages of "favourites only" keeps changing back to "none" so the work astound doesn't work either. Many many people report this issue but it's not fixed.
