i dont know what to do ive tried a forced restart and ive tried wireless charging someone please help me

If your S23 overheated and now won’t turn on or charge even after a forced restart, that usually means either the battery or mainboard was damaged by the heat.

Try charging with a wired charger for 30 minutes even if the screen doesn't show charging. Use a Samsung approved cable and charger.

I charged it for 2 hours on the charger I got with the phone and still nothing

Force Restart

If no response after charging:

Hold Volume Down + Power for 20–30 seconds.

If nothing happens, try Volume Up + Power for 20–30 seconds.

This forces the device to reboot or enter recovery.

Test Another Cable & Charger

If possible, test with a different Samsung-certified cable/adapter.

A faulty charger can make it look like the phone is dead.

Look for Subtle Signs of Life

Vibration when pressing power.

Screen flicker.

Heat near charging port.

Charging sound (if volume was up).
If you notice any of these, the phone is trying to boot, but the screen or battery may be damaged.

Recovery Mode (if logo appears)

Hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo shows.

Release Power but keep holding Volume Up.

If recovery menu appears, you can test “Reboot system now.”

If Still Dead → Service Time

If absolutely no signs of life:

Likely causes: fried battery, blown charging circuit, or logic board damage.

Next step: Take it to a Samsung Service Center or carrier store.

Do not try to keep forcing it on, jump-starting with random chargers, or opening the phone. A damaged lithium battery can be dangerous.

Ive had similar issues with an S23 overheating while charging. Ive also seen a new Samsung charger not charg a phone due to it not being able to switch amperage but still provide power to run the phone.
Check the port, blow out any lint or dirt, locate a known good charger and grab a new USBc

It overheated while I was playing a game
